The Sixth Annual New Hampshire Troopers Association Golf Tournament was held on August 15, 2005.   The weather held for us and the morning clouds burned off and we had GREAT weather.

We believe our efforts to speed up play worked and got us off the course around 3:15 PM.  The door prize drawings had been done already, so we only had to do our meal, awards, the raffle and silent auction. 

I will try to get some pictures from this year's tournament and get them posted here.

Our winning team for the second year in a row is the team of Alan Hill, Dean McKinnon, Joe King, Vynnie Hale, and Dan Moquin with a score of 58 or -14.

Second place went to the team from SigArms - Eric Farrar, Ray Reynolds, Peter Kujawski, former Congressman Bill Zeliff, and John Crooks, with a score of 59 or -13.

Third place went to this writer's team with a great deal of help from our youngest player, Mike Field.  The team of Mike Doucette, Pat Palmer, Bruce Blaney, Mike Stevens and Mike Field scored a 60 or -12 for the round.

Men's Longest Drive was won by:  Mike Field
Women's Longest Drive was won by:  Sgt. Carrie Nolet

Men's Closest to the pin:  John Costes - 6'8"
Women's Closest to the pin:  Michelle Zadon - 45'

Men's Longest Putt:  Tpr. Bruce Ela - 18'8"
Women's Longest Putt:  Donna Brazell - 8'6"

Again, a good time was had by all who made the trip to the Maplewood Golf Resort.
